Dead Gaze “I Found The Ending”

Hailing from the Cats Purring family (of which I would crown Dent May weird dad),  is Dead Gaze (the moniker of Cole Furlow), who’s been messing around with sludgy, noisy pop since 2009.

He’s come through the fuzz a bit on this new track “I Found The Ending.” The vocals remind me of Nathan Williams (Wavves). The song is taken from a self-titled album, out May 21st on FatCat/Palmist Records. It compiles highlights from Dead Gaze‘s back-catalog and in addition there’ll be new unheard material. Dead Gaze has put out music on the likes of Group Tightener, Fire Talk, and Clan Destine, but those releases are long sold out. Maybe Cole’s “found the ending” of this part of Dead Gaze‘s life and will be moving in a new direction? We shall see.

You can also download the track for free by “liking” Dead Gaze on Facebook. And pre-order the compilation HERE. Tracklist below.
