Great news today for those who were afraid that we were destined to go over the television douchecal-cliff post-Jersey Shore:
WE HAVE A DEAL.
Simon Cowell may have cried like John Boehner when his concept for a dance-reality show was shot down last year, but the douchecal-cliff has been avoided, thanks to a new thirteenth-hour proposal from Doron Ofir, the company behind the mind-numbing, toolbag-glorifying Jersey Shore.
According to Mixmag, the company has an open casting call at edmcasting.com for an “electronic dance music reality/competition show.” Applicants are encouraged to “BRAG!” about their “best assets, physical, material and social,” ensuring they single out all the best people for what will presumably be the highest-rated show on television this year.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we’re off to a great start in 2013 here, folks.
